Rnd 6 to 8 – (3 rounds) 24 sc (24)

The bbl stitches will be the eyes.

Now we start the color changing.

Rnd. 9 – 9 sc, color B inc, (1sc, inc) x3, color A 8 sc (28)

Put the safety eyes in the bbl and close them from inside the body.

Embroider a smile on rnd 6.

In next round we will crochet the arms.

Rnd. 10 – 9 sc, ch4 crochet back on the chain starting in 2nd ch. from hook and make 3 sc, close with a slst in the same stitch (the 9th sc). This will be the arm.

The slst won‘t count as a stitch for the next round, you have to skip it.

Continue the round with color B with 11 sc, color A 1 sc, ch 4 and repeat the same pattern for the arm,7 sc (28)

Stuff with fiberfill and continue to fill as you go. Put a lot of fill in the belly and push it to give the chubby shape.

Rnd 13 – (1sc, dec) x6 (12)

Rnd 14 – 6 dec (6)

Fasten off leaving a long tail. With a yarn needle, insert the tail into the 6 stitches left, into the flo only, insert the needle in the middle of the mr, pull it out from the back and pull firmly to close it.

With the same tail, do 1 or 2 stitches on each arm to keep them in place on the belly as the picture.

CONGRATS! Your chubby frog is all done! Now you can make your colorful army !
